Executive Team

Brent Marcus
Managing Director

Brent Marcus has over 20 years of technology management experience. As a co-founder of Cyberspace Promotions, Inc. (CPI), he launched one of the earliest internet music ventures with Virtual Radio, a Music and Advertising Forum on the World-Wide-Web in 1994.

Since then, CPI has expanded into a Business Process Management Firm with partnerships with AT&T, IBM and Microsoft. Brent’s main responsibilities are in the areas of strategic planning, finance, operations, software development and project management. Brent has overseen projects for a wide array of well know brand name companies including: Allianz, AutoByTel, Kawasaki, American Honda, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Sears, Pioneer Electronics, Cendant Software, Vans Shoes, Home Town Buffet, Pearl Izumi, and Columbia Sportswear.

Brent received a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1989 and is currently earning his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Vage Minasyan
Director of Sales and Marketing

Vage Minasyan’s professional experience began in the start-up environment. Working closely with the Office of Technology Alliance at University of California – Irvine, he was a member of a dynamic team of academics and professionals who were charged with the task of developing business implementation plans for the commercialization of University owned intellectual property. He has worked closely with leading industry and academic professionals and scientists, specializing in creating synergies between the laboratory ambitions and commercial/business/market ambitions of university led research.

From development strategies to the legal minutia involved in creating new business models, and moving towards bringing those ideas to fruition, Mr. Minasyan has been directly involved in almost every aspect of the start-up ecosystem.

Vage’s work has been focused to productize intellectual property, mostly in the software industry, and ready it for commercial use. He has direct experience working to push software products and services through the entire life cycle, from platform and product specs to market penetration strategies.

Mr. Minasyan holds a B.A in Political Science, with a concentration on International Economic Relations, and a minor in Business Management from the University of California, Irvine.

Herbert Takhmazyan
Director of Research and Development

Herbert Takhmazyan is an IT professional with a history of both product and project management in diverse environments. Herb leverages the scientific acumen he acquired while working in the Research Department of the Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, University of California, Irvine, CA. There, he designed and programmed computer software for behavioral experiments to analyze long term memory and neural synaptic plasticity, and created and deployed the protocol for the extraction, imaging, and analysis of DNA samples using polymerase chain reaction and gel electrophoresis.

Herb, led a team at Savant Software, during his tenure as Acting President, to acquire and budget funds for the development and marketing of a proprietary software platform. Takhmazyan’s team designed the systems architecture for initial prototyping of the product. He managed the development team and its interfacing with third party organizations including investor relations.

At MedChase, Inc. Mr Takhmazyan held the position of IT Systems Manager. He designed and implemented the IT system architecture, integrated the VoIP and customer service portal user interface, and hired, trained, and managed the personnel of the customer support services department. Herb also coordinated sales for bulk purchases, managed B2B and B2C communications channels and supervised the in-house call center.

Mr. Takhmazyan holds a B.S. in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine.
